「OH! GODって、もともとどんなお店だったんですか？」と質問をいただくことがあります。
当時の原宿OH! GODは、映画を観ながら食事やお酒を楽しめるムービーレストランでした。
でも、ただのレストランではありませんでした。
音楽、映画、アート、ファッション。
いろんなカルチャーが自然と集まり、人と人が出会う場所。
と言えば聞こえは良いですが、それ以外にも今では考えられないような世界が毎晩繰り広げられていました。
この空間で過ごした時間を、今でも特別な思い出として語る人がたくさんいます。
そんな場所の名前を受け継がせていただけたことを、とても光栄に思っています。
形は変わっても、人とカルチャーが交差する場所でありたいと思っています。

People in their 20s and 30s often ask us:
“What was OH! GOD originally?”
Back then, Harajuku OH! GOD was a movie restaurant where people could enjoy films, food, and drinks.
But it was never just a restaurant.
Music, film, art, fashion.
Different cultures naturally came together there, and people met people.
That sounds nice enough, but the truth is that things happened there every night that would be almost unimaginable today.
Many people still talk about the time they spent in that space as one of their most cherished memories.
It is a great honor for us to carry on the name of such a place.
The form may have changed, but we hope OH! GOD will continue to be a place where people and culture intersect.
